Exterior update including front & side porch
Client Objectives
The client wanted to take the home’s original brick exterior and make it a modern farm house. The original exterior was flat and one dimensional and there was no designated space to sit and enjoy the outside without being exposed to the elements. They desperately needed a separate covered entrance.
Our Solution
Create dimension by adding the wrap around porch, it also provided a space to sit and relax during all the seasons. By using specific materials such as board and batton siding, metal roofing & wood corbels we were able to create a modern farmhouse feel. Coordinating the two covered areas on either side of the house, it brings the design together and makes it feel intentional, the spaces are not only beautiful, they are functional.
