Modern Twist with a Farm House Feel.
Client Objectives
Update the kitchen so it was bright, modern and had farm house feel and character. They wanted a large island that gave them ample prep space and setting. They wanted some of the space to feel old world, rustic. Plenty of cabinets was a must, along with oversized appliances.
Our Solution
We added a large slider to allow for plenty of natural light. We lined the perimeter of the space with floor to ceiling white custom cabinets. The hood and island was built from reclaimed wood and the beams were over 100 years old. The appliances are paneled so they disguise as cabinets. They have a custom tile behind the large range.
