Client Objectives
The original kitchen was galley style, just big enough for one! It lacked storage, work space, and was outdated. The kitchen was closed off to the living room, making the chef feel disconnected. There was minimal lighting. The client loves to host, and also needed more seating for guests. No proper ventilation.
Our Solution
Incorporate the clients favorite color blue! We selected a soft blue that is timeless. By opening up walls it allowed for more natural light to enter into the space and created an open concept. The hood is properly vented to the outside, and the large 36’’ stove is perfect for cooking for the large family. The counter top is carried up the wall as the backsplash, to eliminate grout. It is not only stunning to look at but is also easy to maintain. To elevate the space we added a spice ledge above the range as well as flanked two stunning sconces on each side.
