Mix of Modern & Reclaimed
Client Testimonial
HTZ captured our vision and were easy to work with. The estimate was a fair price that allowed us to choose quality finishes for our project. They finished the project on budget and on time!
Client Objectives
To open up the space and create a large island for hosting. The client needed a counter height that was lower to allow her to have a space to roll out dough when baking. The clients had two different styles, modern and farm house, and they needed help molding the two together.
Our Solution
To remove the existing peninsula and create space for a large island that had storage, seating, prep space and a separate area for baking. We used sleek grey cabinets with a traditional shaker door profile. Some of the walls had reclaimed barn wood. There is a mix of modern quartz counters and warm butcher block. We added additional recessed lights, under cabinet lighting and pendants over the island that are statement pieces.
Special Features
Glass cabinet doors. Inside cabinet lighting and under cabinet lighting. Reclaimed wood on the walls and a custom wood hood. Durable LVP flooring throughout the first food.
