We hired HTZ to do our kitchen renovation which included changing a full bath to a powder room and reutilizing some of that space for a new mudroom. From the first encounter sharing ideas of what we’d like to have done, to the full design and all the details, and then construction, everyone was helpful, kind and responsive. We were led through the decision-making process which made it less stressful. When issues arose during the demolition and construction phases, as we expected with a project of this scope, they were addressed promptly. The cabinet maker HTZ works with does amazing work. The electricians and plumbers for our project were also courteous and conscientious. The communication with our project lead was great and we enjoyed the friendliness of the HTZ team. We are very happy with our beautiful kitchen, mudroom and powder room!
Client Objectives
To take an unused full bath and create a much needed mudroom. They currently had all of their coats and shoes in their family because there was no designated drop zone.
Our Solution
To leave the sink and toilet as is in the full bath and close off the remaining portion of the bathroom. We took the other half of the space and created a mudroom. The space now has all they needed and more. We closed off the existing opening from the garage into the living room and created a new one that led from the garage into the new beautiful mudroom.
