Client Objectives
They were in dire need of a larger kitchen, with more seating and was open to the other living spaces. A proper mudroom and laundry space, and a master suite to include a bedroom, walk-in closet and bathroom with a large walk-in shower. They also requested a custom bar!
Our Solution
The house was on a slab, so HTZ was very strategic with the layout & functionality. How you designed the spaces could greatly affect the cost of the trades, and we wanted to be respectful of the clients budget. We opened up load bearing wall to create their new open concept kitchen, dining & living room. We converted the existing 2 car garage into the mudroom, bar, & laundry room, and the single car garage and existing laundry room into the new master suite. A new 2 car garage was then added on to the existing home.
Special Features
Luxury LVP throughout the spaces. Custom kitchen cabinets, along with quartz counters and backsplash with custom spice shelf over the large range. Luxurious quartz countertops in the bar. Gorgeous large profile tiles in the spacious walk in custom master bath shower. We raised up the new master suite flooring to be level with the rest through to accommodate aging in place.
